Holocaust surivor story

This past friday we had a visitor to our school. The visitor didn't just come with pictures of his past, but a story that was very powerful. Mr. Mueller was are visitor, he is a holocaust survivor. His story he had shared with me and the classmates effected everyone in one way or another. He was only a little boy how had his father taken away and put in the concentration camps. It's unimaginable to think of the worries of growing up wondering where your father is? Grow up with out an important man in your life. I know if my dad had been taken out of nowhere I would be devastated. Mr. Mueller grew up with his mother and little sister, but one day things changed for him. He had been sent away, his words went like this, " My sister and I had to go onto a train to family friends. I couldn't stop but look at my mom get smaller and smaller the farther the train had went." After he said that my friends and I had a sad look on our faces. Just thinking of how that must of been. He and his sisters went to, i think, 4 camps. One on the camps he was in with was where Anne Frank was. Tho, he didn't meet Anne, it just shows how little the world can be at times. Food, bedding, clothing, shelter was very little. Transportation's were almost an everyday thing,he and his sister were being transported to another camp, but the train ride was 13 days long. During those 13 days there were no food, water, bathrooms, or even room to sit. Eventually, the train ended, and they were free. The Russians and Americans were there to stop all Concentration Camps.
Mr. Muller's story has changed my view of what had really gone on.

Going from the worst to the best

Funny how things in life go, don't you agree? Well my post if about how my basketball team. During are season, Lady Wolves weren't all that good at the start. We would always lose the game by 2 points or so. Our record was 2-7. For sure the team all thought we wouldn't place in the paw pac confrennce. Well, we had are 1st game of the paw pac and won! so now were were playing for a spot in the championship game and 3rd place. Oh I forgot to mention... the boys at are school would always say rude stuff to us no matter if we won or not. When they played in the paw pac they go 3rd. So for the team and I, it was important to get that seat in the championship game :) And guess what... we won the game and were going for the gold!! So either way we were better than the boys team (: Going in the paw pac 6th place and playing for championship is pretty amazing!!
Game went on and we all knew that we wernt going to win, because the girls on the other team r tall, play year round and one girls dad played for the nba. But i remember standing on the court smiling and counting down the seconds and knowing we played amazing and we deserved the 2nd place. Haha let me tell you, it was pretty funny walking in to school showing are 2nd place medal in the boys face and saying," yea i think its time to take back all you said. We got 2nd and you got 3rd :)"  so what I have to tell you is that to never give up your hopes because something good is going to happen in the end of it all
